Harpers air conditioning provide a prompt and efficient air conditioner breakdown and maintenance service covering all types of air con installations, including ventilation & exhaust systems. We can design an air conditioning maintenance program that will extend the life of your air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and minimize downtime and liability risks. Harpers preventative air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance schedules include: - Overall air conditioning system inspection checking the overall operation of the unit; - Determining adequate refrigerant pressure and levels; - Check gas pressure; - Check and clean coils, belts & burners; - Lubricate air conditioner and refrigeration motors; - Check for and repair any leaks in air con/refrigeration piping or insulation; - Check temperature level on indoor & outdoor coils; - Blow out and flush drain lines; - Reset the thermostat and ensure that it is correctly calibrated; - Check and tighten electrical connections if required; - Check voltage and amperages; - Change air conditioner air filters; - Determine that fans are operating correctly; and - Ensure that the unit does not rattle, vibrate or make excessive noise. Regularly checking (monthly) that the air conditioner filter is clean will assist in the general maintenance of air conditioning units and will aid overall operation. This is easily done by removing the front screen on the indoor unit and running a soft head vacuum cleaner over it to remove lint and dust build up.
