Harpers Electrical was formed in 1984 by Colin Harper who is a long standing member of the Sunshine Coast community and a 4th generation Nambourite. In 2006 Colin sold the business to its present owners: Rob Evans & Mike McQuarrie.

Like many residents of the coast these days, Rob comes from the land of the ‘long white cloud' and has a background in both mechanical & electrical services.

Rob has owned his own air conditioning business in NZ and before moving to Australia was the General Manager of their largest mechanical services company with a staff of 260 people.

Mike is also a 4th generation Aussie and has lived in big cities (Sydney & Auckland) until moving to the Coast 2 years ago. He is an accountant (by trade) and has always worked in the building & construction industry.
Mike has been the Financial Controller of Civil & Civic, Lend Lease Retail Projects and Westfields and was the CFO and acting General Manager of NZ's largest electrical & mechanical services group.

Both Rob & Mike bring a wide range of skills and services to the Harpers Group of Businesses with Quality and Customer Service being paramount in their minds.
