The new owner Mike McQuarrie has sought to expand the business and now employ 19 staff with an annual turnover of more than $5 million.

Mike McQuarrie completed his accounting degree (BComm) in Sydney and began his career with CSR on the $1 billion Tomago Aluminium Smelter project. He then moved to Lend Lease Corporation and became the financial controller of Civil and Civic (now known as Bovis Lend Lease) before being promoted as Chief Financial Officer of Lend Lease’s retail development company. His next role was as the financial controller of Westfield Design and Construction.
Mike then relocated to New Zealand as the CFO of the Hartner Group of Companies and the CFO of The Norfolk Group as well as acting as Group General Manager for 6 months. The Norfolk Group is the largest electrical and mechanical subcontractor in New Zealand and gave Mike valuable experience in the electrical industry.
